DBMM New Zealand DBMM, De Bellis Magistrorum Militum, are wargames rules for ancient and medieval battles from 3000 BC to 1525 AD. The rules are written by Phil Barker and published by the Wargames Research Group Limited Publications. The rules, army lists and books are available from www.wrg.me.uk The purpose of this blog is to promote the rules in New Zealand by sharing information and photos. Cavalry underway. Calling these the 1st Alea Lusitanii. These are Victrix Miniatures Iberian cavalry with a couple of Of their Republican Roman heads swapped in.

Have used off-set interlock base placement to deal with the generously sized horses on DBMM bases. This works fine for light horse.

Have another six bases of these light horse to do. Then six bases of ordinary cavalry and four bases of generals.
