DBMM Nationals: “wargaming was the winner!” and so were these guys
Many thanks to
Andrew Bennetts for running such a great weekend, played in excellent spirit by all. Twenty people payed in two groups, ancient, up to 1070 AD and medieval, post-1070 AD.
Ivan Truong, Medieval French, 1st medieval, and winner of the national shell case trophy for top score overall.
Neil Williamson, Tuareg, carefully balancing the trophies for 2nd medieval, best baggage and the Rob Cameron Memorial Winter Cup for the top score by a member of the Hutt Valley Wargaming Club.
Andrew Bennetts, Andalusian, 2nd ancient.
David Kinzett, Late Imperial Roman, 1st ancient.
Big thank to Allen Yaxley for organising the hall, tea, coffee and other quartermaster duties.
Potbelly Miniatures printed the trophies the players get to keep. The shell case and Rob Cameron Memorial Cup are passed on from winner to winner each year.
