The Wellington Warlords met both days at the weekend and Roving Reporter, Alastair Duncan, was there on Sunday. Alastair says: Mark Pickup fielded his new West Sudanese, complete with stampeding cattle, ambushes and Tuareg superior camels against Alastair’s, distinctly pedestrian, Abbasids. While the cattle and camels soon died, the slug fest between inferior spear lasted another six bounds before both armies collapsed and embraced the afterlife!
