| Using conventional washes created a lot of retouching work. Included "glazes" (very thin coats) to cover the barding. |

| The transfers (see shield blazons lower left) are linked to the different horse poses. To keep track, I had to number those! |

| Much easier to use Light Tone (much more subtle). An aside - figure has black wash (helmet) and blue wash on the mail. |
