Two games of DBMM at the Wellington Warlords - from Michael Stonyer, 20 November 2025

Michael Stonyer was at the Wellington Warlords at the weekend and sent these great pics. Mike says there were three DBMM games being played and he took pics of two before having to go back to his, 'impending disaster at Gettysburg'.
Graham Starkey (Parthians) played Raymond Dick (Arabs), and Philip Gates (Feudal Spanish) played Bruce Ferguson (Central Asian City States). Enjoy Mike's pics

The Parthian commander, Graham with an excellent shirt, has a cunning plan.

Was this part of Graham's cunning plan?

Only a small group of the Parthians are situated in the top right hand corner of the battlefield. A command of allied Roman blade lie in ambush on the back of the hill. The majority of the Parthians army is noticeably absent

Raymond's Camels advancing

More Arab baggage

The attack on the defencing Parthians begins

The majority of the Parthians army is still noticeably absent

A column on the attack

The bulk of the Parthians appear on the far flank as the Arab cavalry turn to meet them

Phil's Feudal Spanish vs Bruce's Central Asian City States

Really? You're doing that?

A moment of contemplation from Phil and the battle is joined

It's getting real!
