This morning around half past Seven, the principal texted the Grandmaster, saying he would pick him up at 9 AM downstairs at the hotel and take him to Tiger Room which is ten-minute walk away. After meeting together, we first went to a nearby supermarket to buy daily supplies and familiarize him with the nearby area before heading to Tiger Room.
Upon arriving at Tiger Room, we first set up the terrain for our game, then had the Grandmaster confirm that the figures lent to him for the DBMM competition were complete. After both sides had deployed their armies, it was already 11:45 AM. The two of us then walked to the City Café at the Cityview International Hotel for a buffet lunch to welcome him to Hong Kong.
At around 1:45 PM, the battle began. The Principal used the Chin Chinese army of the Spring and Autumn period, which was very clumsy, against the Patrician Roman army that the Grandmaster planned to use in the competition. The Chin Chinese Commander-in-chief Command was shattered. The army suffering 40% casualties, while the Roman army lost 10%, with one Command disheartened. The final result was 15 points for the Patrician Roman and 10 points for the Spring & Autumn Period Chinese.
At around 5:30 PM, Neil, who was originally scheduled to come to Tiger Room on Wednesday night, arrived a day early. Fortunately, the Grandmaster had already had a luncheon buffet and can skip his dinner, allowing him to immediately play against Neil in the evening. Neil used the Han army, and the Grandmaster used the Patrician Roman army. It was currently 8 PM, and the two armies were still fighting. At 9:15 the game ended with neither side suffering more than 10% losses. So 13 points for the Invading Han Chinese army and 12 points for the defending Patrician Roman army.
