A week ago I posed the question, were the Chinese the first to use artillery? This week it’s St Mark’s Bronze Lion in Venice. Is its origin Tang Dynasty China?

The Winged Lion is the Symbol of Mark , author of the Gospel of Mark...but previously the symbol of the Israelite House of Judah..all the 12/13 Houses/Tribes of Israel had a symbol.. possibly this relates to Astrology ?..but Venice identifies with Mark because Venetians stole his bones from an Orthodox Church in Alexandria and brought them to Venice..the 4 Horses on St.Marks Cathedral were stolen from Byzantine in 1204..
