From Roving Reporter, Alastair Duncan: The final Warlords bash at the Khandallah hall had a distinctly Roman feel as Michael Stonyer’s Aventine Late Imperial Romans took on Barry Norris’ Gripping beast Byzantines.
Meanwhile, Craig Ellison’s Irregular miniatures Sassanids made short work of Alastair Duncan’s Hinchcliffe Byzantines. Turned out each of their armies were veterans from the 70s and 80s thus making them older than half the people in the hall!!!
