A big welcome to Jarrod Tasker who joined us for the first time and Stephen Sammons who travelled from Wanganui, again
. Jarrod played Battletech and showed us some of his 3D printing, the research lab in the pics, and Stephen played his first game of DBA.

It was also great to see Ken Hay and Ed Gough dropping in to talk toy soldiers. Ed’s news is he is plotting a 25mm Prussian Napoleonic army.
Next Saturday, four of us are making a club trip to the Hutt Valley Wargaming Club to play in a DBMM 100 inter-club event Neil Williamson is running. Everyone who is interested is most welcome to come along, too. It will be at one of the Hutt Club’s regular meetings at St Patrick’s College, Silverstream and there will be lots of different periods being played.
Our games played: DBMM 100: Chris Blackler (Late Imperial Romans) vs Samuel Taylor (Medieval French), and Chris also played me (Mitanni).
DBA: Stephen (Later Achaemenid Persians) and David Taylor (Macedonians) played an extended learning game.
Battletech: Jarrod and Richard Glendinning played a scenario around capturing (or defending) the research lab Jarrod had printed. One of Richard’s sons, Blair, helped Jarrod.
