Hi all, I'm not (yet) a DBMM player but I have a modest collection of 28mm Normans/Early Crusade models I'm considering rebasing for larger games. I've collected them for Saga and Lion Rampant so they're on individual 25mm bases. I'm switching to plastic for Saga, mostly for ease of transport, but still want to get this collection on the table.
Are there any resources for base sizes, number of figures per base or any other required basing conventions that will help me work out what I need for this?

Andrew CramptonLikely want to have a look at the army lists for numbers of bases
Andrew DaviesCould you run off a load of multi bases with circular slots for them and keep them useable for both? I could help with that with the printer. A bit of blu-tak or hot glue to hold them on…… might work? It’d be very easy to design a rectangle with some…

Alix BarclayAndrew Daviesi did that for Kings of War, which is a bit more forgiving on basing. I can't think how to shift 3-4 models on 25mm bases onto 60mmx30mm, though so I'm increasingly leaning to rebasing them.

You may find some of the modern B I G munted figures don't fit well onto a base. Several players use deeper bases for this. It just involves a quick conversation before the game and no one objects

Alix Barclay frontage is important as all combat is element to element. Depth less so, keeping in mind that deeper bases make elements less manoeuverable because they take up more space.
