You have to have paid prior to the convention. i.e. you can’t turn up and pay on the day, except by prior arrangement with the registrar.
Call to Arms 2024 - BSP Championship
Greetings DBMM Ancient players of Aotearoa,
On the weekend of 31 August/1 September the Wellington Warlords are again hosting Call to Arms 2024.
In the DBMM Ancients competition the Brent Senior-Partridge trophy is once again at stake. The full Player Pack is on the Wellington Warlords website at https://warlords.org.nz/cta24-comps-packs.
It's the usual arrangement:
  • 4 rounds on Saturday 31st August and Sunday 1st September
  • 8 x 5 ft tables (2400 x 1500 in the new money)
  • 450pts selected from a single 500pt army list
  • fixed terrain, with players rotating around the tables.
You can register for the competition on the Wellington Warlords Call to Arms website (https://warlords.org.nz/cta-24-registration). Registration will cost you $50 for a Warlords club member or $55 for non members. The sooner you register, the sooner we'll have a better idea of player numbers and can put dibs on our space in the conservatory!
More news will come shortly. For now, you just need to block out the dates and start planning your army lists.

Hi Paul Graham one question, do we add aggression when we: "choose a season, then dice for table sides - the higher dicing player is the attacker, the defender chooses the side where he/she intends to set up"

Yes, just like the rules. It's a mechanism to decide attacker and defender, with the change that the defender chooses the table side. The attacker gets to move a terrain piece.
