Toolbox latch broke... my Greeks just can't catch a break (thankfully it's minimal damage though!)

I've always been worried about that happening. That's why I stopped using them. Tool boxes, not Greeks.
The new system is large flat multi compartment plastic storage containers. With paper steel on the bottom.
Easier storage, just a bit more difficul… See more

Philip Gates Once I have sorted out what army I'm using and put it in a toolbox, I put eveything I need into a largeish sports bag. So far I've no problem with it and I use public transport almost all the time.

Did the latch break off or just turn to the open position and “fall out” for lack of a better term?
For the latter I used to lock the latch in with a wooden peg (on a string) through the latch loop.

Russell Briant opened position, but it's gotten really loose - could you show me?

Josh Barton does it have a padlock loop? If so just replacing putting a padlock through that with a wooden dowel to stop the catch being able to come open and make it easier to remove.

Personally given the love-hate relationship Josh has with his Thebans, he decided to punish them for losing last weekend by leaving the catch undone.

Only taken two years but this is the last Henry VII unit done. Been an interesting process as I moved from enamels to acrylic paints and tried all sorts of shading along the way.
Bit circular because I started by painting half the horses for this batch but only now have completed the process.
And the bases are 60 x 50; can't fit these onto the "regular" DBMM size.
