International delivery delays - posted by Dirk Heinsius, 15 May 2020

For those expecting packages from the UK. One of my parcels is being tracked, and has so far taken 10 days to get from the Nottingham Mail Centre, to the Heathrow Worldwide Distribution Centre.
Don't hold your breath, gentlemen

  • Vincent Cholewa Similar with an order from Old Glory. Got to the Chicago International distribution centre and then got in a queue ðŸ˜Ÿ
  • David Billinghurst My order from OG went through Youshop and only took a week longer than expected to arrive, once NZ Post was able to get space on a plane.
  • John van den Hoeven Yeah ive got 2 orders from Assault Group,1 order from Helion Books and 1 from Battlefront US.Been waiting over a month for some of them😑
    • David Billinghurst Yeah, I have a bunch of stuff inbound from Book Depository and Abe Books - it's either like final approach to Heathrow with packages arriving every couple of minutes, or a bad night over Dresden with them all arriving at once!
  • Simon Paton Just received some HOTT armies I ordered from UK just before lock down.
  • Dirk Heinsius There also seems to be an issue at Auckland, I have a package of "undisclosed" material, which left Los Angeles 4 days ago (tracked), but still hasn't been scanned in at Auckland. I suspect it's sitting in a freight container waiting to be processed.

  • Russell Briant Ordered some flags from Adolfo Ramos in Spain. He was ready to send them this week but then found out Spain can’t currently post to NZ, Australia or Japan.

    This to will pass.
  • Philip Gates I ordered some stuff from Litko in early March. I checked the progress last week as it still hasn't arrived. Been sitting in a USPS warehouse since the 19th if March!
I asked Litko if they could chase it up. They sent another parcel by another courier last weekend. It got to Auckland on Wednesday and will be delivered Monday.
