Two games of DBMM at Pukekohe (but one is a secret!) - posted by Ben Vartok, 6 October 2025

Pukekohe Wargaming Club and South Auckland Miniature Wargames met yesterday. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1780770452159165 Two games of DBMM were played, practice for Hong Kong and Heavy Metal. One was of 15mm variety between Wayne and Benny. A court order means there is no AAR or photos from that game, mainly due to the scale used.

In the other game Grant Brown fielded a late Norse Irish army versus my Early Crusaders. Grant practiced winning while I practiced losing and both my mounted and dismounted knights need more practice at fighting.

Wayne and I played out a bloody 13-12 draw in Wayne's favour, both of us having lost well over 30% of our armies before we had to call time. Wayne's security team have confiscated all photos from the engagement to prevent intelligence about his army leaking to Bangkok or Hong Kong.

Ben Vartok i think he has more soldiers than the rest of us put together. Not sure if they are to scale though......
