Early Carthaginian chariots - posted by Ben Vartok, 28 May 2025

The Early Carthaginian project has passed another kidney stone . The panzers are done! Now some Gauls and Etruscans and then I can rearrange the painting queue based on shinyness.

Oh and yes I have end user certificates from the Assyrian army surplus dealer. Got a great deal on used chariots, a clearance sale as the Assyrian empire was closing for good. Low miles and careful owners who only drove to the diary and back on Sundays.

I blame the Medes and their bullying of the poor Assyrians.

The chariots look great, BTW. I love the work you have done on the scale armour 👍

It's now safe to go fast past primary schools as Simeon Brown has removed the caltrops aka road cones!
