Update: The 2025 Nationals - from the organising committee, 15 May 2025

When: 21-22 June 2025 (Matariki weekend)

Where: The Johnsonville Club, Wellington, i.e. the Wellington Warlords clubrooms.

You will need to be signed in by a Johnsonville Club member (Wellington Warlords members are Club members). There is parking at the venue, which is up a wee rise (Norman Lane) from Johnsonville Road, just off the motorway. For map see https://www.eventfinda.co.nz/.../the-johnsonville-club...

Drinks, tea and coffee, and meals are available on the premises.

Competition:

DBMM 2.1 rules with clarifications from the Commentary V7.1.1 and current army lists.

450 points, one army, one list. The lists are to be forwarded to Richard Foster at richardfoster@outlook.co.nz by Sunday 15th June at the latest. He will send you his list.

There will be four rounds, two each day, from 10am to 2pm then 2pm to 6pm

Games will be four (4) hours long.

As it is the Nationals it is an open comp, no date restrictions. If we get six (6) registrations with post 1070 armies then we will split into two groups with the overall points leader being the winner.

The first round will be designed around the date of your army as per previous competitions.

No area features larger than 1 FE.

No night attacks.

Stratagems: points may be allocated in the army list, the stratagem itself being selected as per the rules. Unused points are lost.

Prizes to be determined once numbers are known.

We will organise a dinner, probably at the Club itself or a nearby Indian restaurant for the Saturday night and also for Sunday night if people are keen. Please let Phil know either way.
