Four games at the Hutt Club - from Alastair Duncan, 26 May 2025

Saturday, Hutt Valley Wargaming Club, filed by Roving Reporter, Alastair Duncan:
Four games of DBMM at the Hutt Club as Paul Graham’s Sassanids slugged it out with Philip Gates Belisarian Byzantines.
Meanwhile the Ottoman Turks of Barry Norris succumbed to the Navaresse of Gary Lewis .
Graham Starkey’s double flank marching Parthians smote the King of King's in a rare defeat for the ever aggressive Richard Mason, Early Achaemenid Persians.

Back in the game after a period of R and R, the Feudal English led by Mark Pickup made easy meat of Alastair’s Koreans as the bow S shot down and outfought the Korean pike I!

Asking for memories of great uncle, Brent Senor-Partridge - anonymous post, 25 May 2025

Kia ora to the members of this esteemed group. I am asking if anyone would have any stories of a late great uncle of mine Brent Senior-Partridge. He passed when I was about 8 and we never saw him so I am curious about his impact of wargaming or something like that.

Thank you

I remember in the 1980s Brett obtained a licence to make Mikes Models 15mm figures in New Zealand..mainly Ancients but there might have been some Napoleonics ? Good quality cheap figures without paying import duties and UK postage..
