The momentum has faltered in the centre, as the ranks of swordsmen are thinned by the seeming endless ranks of warband. The Bedouin horse shout encouragement from the rear while checking the path to Arabia is still open behind them. Bedu camel scouts have been withdrawn from the right flank and are contemplating help mind the baggage...

The Arab centre colapses under the constant pressure of the howling Libu. The right, already disconcerted by the high casualties among the bowmen, routs on seeing the centre break. Walid ibn al-Khalid fights a desparate rearguard action as the rest of his army streams from the feild but the day is lost. Pharoah has gained a great victory, taken many slaves and suffered only the loss of many of his Libyan mercenaries.

On the Arab right the Sherden, angered by the clouds of halal arrows, pile into the archers. Despite a desparate resistance the bowmen are driven back, leaving their dead in the recently inundated soil
