Havoc in the Hutt - six DBMM games - from Alastair Duncan, 10 May 2026

Roving Reporter, Alastair Duncan, was at the Hutt Valley Wargaming Club yesterday, where there were six games of DBMM. Alastair says:

Craig Ellison’s gorgeous new neo-Assyrians may look superb but, alas, cuneiform script of 1s and 2s did little to dent the stout Anglo-Saxons of Gary Lewis.
Meanwhile, back in Palestine, or thereabouts, Paul Graham’s Bythinians were on a package tour to Egypt where Pharaoh, Richard Mason waited.
Mayhem of the day turned out to be those once and future NATO allies, Graham Starkey’s Picts who took on Bruce Ferguson’s Swedes.
Meanwhile Alastair managed two 240 pointers with his Philistines and Goliath playing two consecutive games, first against Barry Norris’s borrowed Bythinians and then Michael Stonyer’s stunning Middle Imperial Romans, who had preciously fought Paul Goldstone’s equally grand Polybians.
