Bd(O) on deeper bases - posted by John Way, 9 May 2026

Hello. Folks attending the Taranaki tourney- I and contemplating using my Renaissance Arab or Japanese armies as Arab Conquest or Post-Modern Samurai. However the Bd(O) are on 30mm deep bases for DBR. There are no Bd(F) in the Arab army and the Monk Bd (F) in the Japanese are all obviously, well, monks. Does anyone object if my Bd (o) are on the deeper bases?

Otherwise I am stuck with the Marian Romans which are a better army but a bit dull....

I don't see any problem with it, after all most of my cavalry are on deeper bases. Just make sure that you recoil the appropriate depth.

Go for it!!! As Dirk said if you recoil the right depth, no problem
