Michael Stonyer was at the Wellington Warlords on Saturday and sent these gorgeous pics. Mike says:
A huge fight between Paul Goldstone (Republican Rome) and Barry Norris (Seleucids). After a days fighting it came down the Roman general vs a Selucid General, Mano v Mano. It became one of those great moments for wargamers. Pure skill. Tension mounted. Alea iacta est! And ...
Paul doesn't just win but Barry's General bites the dust. The loss causes Barry's army to collapse just as the Roman's broke! 13 to 12 to Rome with both armies broken.
Shay Bassett (100 Years War English) played Alastair Duncan (Swiss) in another game ending with both armies broken.
In the third game, it was victory to the great builder Pharoah, Richard the Mason, over his opponent Pyrhuss (Paul Graham).
