Benny played John Calnan, his Anglo Danes vs Teutonic Knights. Match report and photos will follow from
Andrew Bennetts.
In a fairly close historical match up my Early Carthaginians were up aganist Philip Abela with his Kushite Egyptians. A very close game, back and forth, up and down, round and round and cliche after cliche. First to break was the Numdian Ally on the far right flank which had the neighbouring command dishearten from witnessing the demise. However the demoralised lads rallied and broke the Egyptians in front of them. At the same time a few of my Knight chariots smashed through cavalry on the left and started rolling up that flank. Pips were in constant low supply for the Carthies but not for Kushites. Realising the trouble they pushed in the centre with a line of Knight Chariots and counterattacked on the left and right. In one bound they killed three Carthie knights plus a bunch of other stuff, broke another command and cumulative losses added up to an army break. Great game Philip Abela, thank you.

Philip AbelaThat's my Ax(O) being destroyed by disheartened Ps(I). Following up into a double overlap wasn't their best move |
