Today I had a game at Alastair Duncan’s home.
This was my second game with my Early Imperial Romans against Alastair’s Parthians. He gave me lots of help during the game but I still managed to make a couple of near fatal moves. Luckily I had laid a river from side to side of the table which held him back. The game resulted in a draw. Also I found that I have picked up somebody’s 400 pace ruler. Well done Dan. An honourable draw is an awful lot better than Marcus Licinius Crassus managed against the Parthians!
