A number of DBMM games at the AWC today along with Bolt Action, Renaissance, Napoleonics, Vietnam 15mm and DBA.
I played John Calnan's Order of St John (Rhodes) with Syrians. and the debut of my new Late Crusader Ally pack. Three allied generals and only one unreliable so calling that a win. Game was a draw and while there was much fighting and shooting there was not much death. Two of John's knights including a general were double overlapped in combat for 3 - 4 bounds each and lived till games end. John's Regular Blade S Knights meanwhile could not kill my inferior Irreg Spear in multiple bounds and none of them died. Called the game at 2.30.
Meanwhile Benny played John Way, Macedonian Successor vs Lucullus of the Borg....sorry I meant of the Romans. Romans win and not go home. Wayne Watts was playing 15mm using Alans or similar against Julian Pinfold's Late Romans. Surfboard was playing 240 points in 15mm in an introductory game session. And Malcolm Dale played Greg Heyes in DBA.
