In my quest to make finishing this Persian army as hard as possible does anyone know what an Early Achaemenid “Sacred standard on chariot with 4 Nissan horses” would look like? Sounds weirdly cool. Persian Guard Cavalry WIP to get attention.

Are you sure it's "4 Nissan horses" and not 4 horsepower Nissan? Or something else . . .

Like this. Except that if they are NIssan horses their armour should be rusty.

Ist Corps are a lot smaller than Victrix, I'd recommend the old Vendel miniatures Chariot. They also do an excellent Egyptian Marine figure, which is perfect size wise to match Victrix.

Julian Hannam This is an older Hinchcliffe Assyrian Chariot. with a few Immortals guarding it.
BTW, I can't make it to Greytown, so if there are any Persians you wish to borrow for the event let me know.

Thanks Derek I did paint up some Persian infantry and using some 3-D printed shields they look okay. I’m sure a purist, perhaps like yourself may have a slight cardio malfunction.
