It was great to see everyone at our meeting on Sunday at Levin East School - always good to play and talk toy soldiers
Bryan Fowler brought along his very cool, epic scale Napoleonic Prussians. Epic scale is described as 13.5mm and is actually pretty close to old school 15mm, before scale creep made 15mm more like 18mm. Bryan along with Ed Gough and Brett, who also came along to the meeting, are planning a Napoleonic game for next meeting.
In the Battle of the Davids, Davids Wright and Taylor played 20mm DBA using Persians and Macedonians.
Chris Blackler (Late Imperial Roman) and I (Thracians) played 25mm DBMM 100. Samuel Taylor joined in, getting ideas for his armies.
Richard Glendinning and Rhys Hendry brought their Battletech stuff and planned a campaign they will be running.
Next meeting: Sunday, October 20, 10am at Levin East School hall. See you there: all periods, all scales, all rules are most welcome
