At the club today we had a mini DBMM 100 tourny.

Romans versus Barbarians loosely based on Caesar's invasion of Gaul.

We played 3 games.

Rex, Jim and Craig played the Romans.

Darren, Ross and Neil played the Barbarians.

The first round was a massive win to all the Barbarians. The Romans were slow to adjust to the warband tactics. This changed in the second round.

Eventually, Rome was beaten and sacked.

Great fun had by all.

Great to see DBMM 100 being played. I have never played it and will have to give it a go

  You are involved in the action all the time. It doesn't take long to move your elements with only 1 pip die. So you are quickly into combat and then onto the next turn.

  It's also brutal. A breakthrough is exploited rapid…

  Vincent Cholewa Don't use the victory points from the rulebook. They skew game results terribly.

  Use the big boys (standard) victory point schedule.
