Two games at the Wellington Warlords - from Alastair Duncan, 21 December 2025

Yesterday, Roving Reporter, Alastair Duncan, was at the last Warlords meeting of the year. Alastair says there were two DBMM games:

Barry Norris stormed forward with his Hatrene cataphracts and support, only to fall to Raymond Dick and his Pre-Islamic Arabs a.k.a. 'I'd walk a mile for a camel!!’
Next door, Alastairs inert, Claudian Romans, complete with an inferior elephant, struggled to hold off Daniel Wade’s Ancient Brits ‘til a series of 6:1s disheartened the warbands. Given Dan had thrashed the Romans in three previous games Alastair said " it made a nice change"!!!

Daniel Wade the Battle of Wattling Street always sounds to me like either a football riot or fighting Mosley’s fascists! 😝
