Auckland Wargaming Club: A packed house including two games of DBMM - posted by Andrew Bennetts, 16 December 2024

 The last meeting of the Auckland Wargaming Club for 2024 saw a packed house, including two games of DBMM.

My Anglo-Normans had the finer points of international financial trading regulations explained to them in no uncertain terms by the pikes of Wayne's Later Swiss while John Way's Muslim Conquest came up short against the camels and walls of James Hook's Hatrene Arabo-Aramaeans.

Besides the DBMM there was a loud Wild West gunfight that featured some appalling Western accents, a fine looking 28mm Napoleonic games and no less than three WWII games in three different scales with three different rule systems.

Jed Stanton Balmoral Scout Hall at Pollard Park, off Waitomo Ave, Balmoral. Regular meetings on 3rd Sunday of the month but the club often also runs special events on the 1st Sunday. Do come along if you are interested
