  • Gerard Lelieveld Venue was fantastic

  • Vincent Cholewa A good venue. I would happily use it again. The 9am opening is a little later than usual but there are ways to make up for that as we did at ValleyCon 👍
  • Philip Gates Good venue. Happy to play there again.

  • Dirk Heinsius Although I didn't play, venue looked great, loved having bar and food, but appreciate the hassle of moving tables etc there and back.

  • Dirk Heinsius Btw could we continue there in the evening, i.e. plsy later. Hong Kong club tends to start and finish later than we do, and non local players would have more time to drive in the morning
  • Michail Woolf All in one venue is great, I like that coffee was only a few steps away and the food was good.

ValleyCon: Another thank you - posted by Vince Cholewa, 20 January 2020

ValleyCon: Thank you to the 18 who played DBMM on Saturday and Sunday - in total there would have been about 120 people playing various periods. Special thank you to Allen Yaxley for running our competition, to the Hutt Valley Wargaming Club for putting on yet another highly successful event and to Kapiti Hobbies for my prize for looting the most baggage in my four games.

ValleyCon: Later Polish vs Patrician Roman - posted by Vince Cholewa, 19 January 2020

My final game at ValleyCon, Paul Graham (Patrician Roman) vs my Later Polish. This is all Paul’s fault. In 1979 I came along to the Wellington Warlords, met Paul who welcomed me and loaned to me a set of rules. The rest, is history 😊

ValleyCon: Later Polish vs Mithridatic - posted by Vince Cholewa 19 January 2020

My third opponent, Philip Gates (Mithridatic) vs my Later Polish. A throughly enjoyable game against an old friend that ended with a draw (5 penalty points each).
