Four games at the Wellington Warlords - from Alastair Duncan, 31 January 2026

A big thank you to Roving Reporter, Alastair Duncan, who was at the Wellington Warlords on Saturday and he says about the four DBMM games:

Paul Graham’s four superior French generals fell off their horses to Philip Gates’ Spanish, Paul Goldstones Republican Romans build a wall across Pictland after Graham Starkey’s woad-wearers ruled the roost!

It was Byzantines v Mongols/Chinese as Raymond Dick slugged it out with Michael Stonyer using Juan Chinese and ordinary blades across the Sea Peoples civil war, Richard Fields 20mm HAT veterans took on Alastair’s newly painted Foundry figures who had been sitting peacefully awaiting a paint brush for 20 years! Back in the day they cost 50 p each
